Proper usage can prevent battery defects and keep it in good condition:

According to the characteristics of a lithium-ion battery, if it is not used for a long time, the stored battery should be recharged every 3-6 months, and it is appropriate to keep it at 40%-70%. It is not advisable to fully charge the battery. The battery should be stored in a dry environment at temperatures between 40°F~100°F (4°C~35°C) or in moisture-proof packaging. Keep it away from heat sources and direct sunlight. The recommended temperature range for recharging is 32°F~113°F (0°C~45°C), and the discharging temperature range is -4°F~140°F (-20°C~60°C). Lithium-ion batteries can adapt to a wide temperature range when in use. They can still be used outdoors in winter, but the capacity will decrease. When returned indoors, the capacity can be restored. The best time to charge the battery is when it has 30%-50% remaining power, as the battery is relatively stable during this period. Recharge the battery before it is completely depleted to avoid damaging the battery, causing defects, and reducing its lifetime.
